Multiwall polycarbonate sheets

Polycarbonate (PC) is a unique engineering thermoplastic which combines a high level of mechanical, optical and thermal properties. The versatility of this material makes it suitable for many engineering applications. When extruded in sheet form, its optical and impact properties in particular render this material an ideal candidate for a wide range of glazing applications. Creative construction projects, such as stadium and train station roof covers, complex dome structures, skylights and barrel vaults, or lightweight roof constructions for winter gardens are all possible with MWS sheets.

The sheets have ITB Technical Approvals and numerous foreign certificates. We also offer aluminum profiles, EPDM gaskets, tapes and washers for the installation of multiwall sheets.

Applications

  • Roofing and skylight runs, vertical glazing in industrial, commercial and sports venues
  • Skylights and smoke dampers – flat and arched
  • Canopy roofs of passages, station roofs, public transportation stops, roofs over building entrances and vestibules
  • Transparent safety filling of doors and windows
  • Conservatories, verandas, winter gardens, pergolas and loggias
  • Greenhouses
  • Features of interior design and architecture, e.g. partition walls, suspended ceiling systems
  • Other structures, i.e. solar energy collectors, sound screens, protective barriers and guards

Advantages

  • Resistant to atmospheric conditions (10 year manufacturer's guarantee – the discolouration index of Lexan board is 2 to 3 times lower than traditionally co-extruded boards)
  • Superior light transmittance
  • Lightness and high rigidity
  • Excellent thermal insulation properties (the heat-transfer coefficient U of up to 0.9 W/m2/K)
  • High impact strength
  • Can be cold bent
  • Boards with special properties: increased resistance to various impact loads, versions NO DROP, EASY CLEAN, SOLAR CONTROL, etc.
  • ITB Technical Approvals and numerous foreign certificates
