Boards for transparent screens

Transparent sound screens which are installed at locations which require good visibility apart from noise reduction. Other related uses include sound barriers for industrial applications and sound insulation of machinery.

We offer acrylic and polycarbonate boards.

PLEXIGLAS SOUNDSTOP acrylic boards are manufactured by Parachemie GmbH, a part of Evonik (Degussa) – Rohm GmbH, one of the world's largest manufacturers of PMMA boards.

Types of Plexiglas Soundstop boards:

  • PLEXIGLAS SOUNDSTOP XT – extruded acrylic glass
  • PLEXIGLAS SOUNDSTOP GS – poured non-fibre acrylic glass
  • PLEXIGLAS SOUNDSTOP GSCC – poured acrylic boards with embedded polyamid fibres; black or neutral fibres oriented transversely or longitudinally. The fibres prevent free splinters during damage upon collision. Conform to PN-EN 1794-2:2005.

LEXAN polycarbonate boards are manufactured by the world's largest manufacturer of polycarbonate resins and boards – SABIC Innovative Plastics. The Lexan polycarbonate is a technically unique thermoplastic material, which binds excellent mechanical, optical and thermal properties. LEXAN boards are perfectly suited for a wide range of glazing applications.

Types of polycarbonate boards:

  • EXELL D – solid polycarbonate boards with double-sided UV protection
  • MARGARD – solid polycarbonate boards with double-sided protection from UV and enhanced protection from scratches caused by stones, sand grains etc. ejected by wheels. They are chemically resistant which enables removal of graffiti and murals.
